Dog care guides
Short, practical guides for dog owners about the paperwork and routines around a dog: where vaccine records come from, how to set reminders that hold up, what to bring to the vet and what a care log is worth. None of them give medical advice.

Latest guides
Each guide answers one question first, then shows the steps. The guides cover logs, vet visits, records and routines, and they link to the matching Okaypup feature when one helps. For medical decisions, ask your veterinarian: these pages are about organising information, not about diagnosis.
Which guide should I read first?
New dog? Start with the new puppy paperwork checklist and the first vet visit checklist. Going away? Use the dog boarding checklist or the sitter instructions template. Already have a routine? What to track in a dog care log and the vaccine records guide will tighten it.
What kinds of guides are here?
Four groups: records and paperwork (vaccines, licenses, microchips, ID tags), routines and logs (feeding, walking, potty, medication reminders), people and places (sitters, daycare, boarding, travel, moving) and just-for-fun pieces such as dog personality types and gotcha day ideas. Each ends with a short FAQ.
Do I need the app to use the templates?
No. The checklists and templates work on paper or in any notes app. Okaypup is mentioned where a feature makes a step quicker, and nothing here depends on it.

Can I use the checklists without Okaypup?
